This app has been developed based on the scientific theories and can be used to select a suitable efficient pumpset for irrigation. As per user input data about the farm, the required water flow rate, total head and motor power rating(BHP) are computed and displayed on the mobile screen. Based on these conditions, the user can buy the suitable energy efficient (star labelled) pumpset. The pumpset selected based on this app, will operate near to best efficiency level for a longer period, thus avoiding wastage of energy and water. This will reduce the electricity bill and repair & maintenanace costs. The app is useful for farmers, irrigation engineers and Goverment agencies promotig energy efficiency in agriculture pumping system. The app is protected under copyright act, Govt. of India.
