This app has been developed based on the scientific formulas and can be used to measure the tubewell water flow rate. The app provides a simple, inexpensive and practical means of estimating flow rate from horizontal pipes.No special training is required. The user has to measure only the horzontal and vertical distances and these values are filled in the app to know the discharge rate. The distances are measured when the flow rate is constant. This will help the farmers to apply the required quantity of water to their fields. The app has been developed by Prof. A K Jain, Punjab Agricultural University(Ludhiana)India.
